WITC March Monthly Meeting - "Wireless Technology: Convenience in Connectivity" 3/13/2003
Mobile radios, cellular phones, Internet - wireless technology is a part of them all. We use wireless technology every day, and new enhancements continue to become available, making interfacing with one another more convenient. Join the WITC as we explore the latest and greatest in wireless technology. Both broadband and LAN wireless technology will be discussed. Speakers will focus on the latest trends, specifics on the technology itself, as well as touch on case studies that explore successes in real situations.

Mr. Richard C. Donohoe, University of Phoenix and University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Network, Information and Space Security Center (NISSC)
Mr. Donohoe is also the Director of Federal/State/Local programs for Innovative Technology Systems.
Local Government
Captain Steve Holmes, Assistant Chief of Police/Captain, Pratt Police Department, Pratt, Kansas
Captain Holmes is in charge of investigations and the information technology coordinator for the Pratt County Police Department. He is also a 21-year veteran of the department. Pratt is a city of 6,500 located in south-central Kansas. Captain Holmes will discuss mobile broadband wireless; how it is currently being used in law enforcement, its benefits and the emerging technologies.

Mr. Reiner has been in the telecommunications business for over 25 years. His current position supports all AT&T communication activities for AFSPC, NORAD, NORTHCOM, USSTRATCOM and Homeland Security.
