Prior to returning to the GSA after a 10-year hiatus Patrick was the Manager of Technical Services for a large college in Oregon where he was responsible for a 4,000-node data/voice network, data center operations and Internet access for online courses as well as administrative purposes. In addition to having attended Portland State University and Marylhurst College his 21-year information technology career has included positions with private industry, academia and federal agencies. Patrick's federal employers have included the IRS and Bonneville Power Administration in addition to GSA.
